A small tool for a real problem

Make routing
a visible choice.

Works with your existing Clash / Mihomo.
Choose outbound routes from a familiar app list.

01 / CHOOSE

A switch with a clear destination.

Match the full process path. Scan installed apps or add an .exe manually. Enable a proxy route or keep the app direct.

Your choices are saved
02 / REMEMBER

Remember the list. Start lighter.

Load the cached list at startup. Click Rescan when you need an update. Existing switch choices are preserved.

03 / RECOVER

Settings change. Recovery is ready.

Monitor node, port and configuration changes. Save an encrypted backup before applying rules, verify the readback and attempt recovery on failure.

Clear status. Missing paths are reported.

  1. 01

    Get Clash ready

Run Mihomo. Enable service mode, TUN and auto-route, then select a working proxy node.

  2. 02

    Choose apps that need VPN

Open AppSorter. Use your cached list, scan or add apps when needed, then set the switches.

  3. 03

    Apply and wait for verification

Choose a node or proxy group and click Enable routing. AppSorter uses rule mode to route apps.

Know the boundaries

Know what the tool does.

Why does it need rule mode and TUN?

TUN captures app connections. Rule mode chooses routes by process path. Mihomo global mode ignores routing rules, so AppSorter switches to rule mode when enabled.

Does turning a switch off block the app?

Off means DIRECT, not blocked internet. New connections use the new policy. Old connections without identifiable process information may require an app restart.

Can direct apps guarantee zero VPN traffic?

Unselected app data defaults to DIRECT. Clash DNS, subscription updates and node tests retain their existing settings, so total VPN traffic is not guaranteed to be zero.

What should I do after an app update?

If a path changes, click Rescan. Deleted paths are skipped with a notice instead of blocking other apps. Independent networking helper processes may need to be added manually.

How do I stop app routing?

Click Restore original configuration in the Clash connection page or tray menu. Exiting the client stops monitoring; Clash continues to use its loaded rules.
